In the UK, the recommended calorific intake for an adult is 2000 calories (KCals). In an attempt to shed the bear-gut, eat healthier and become fitter, I am following a regime to eat less than 2000 calories a day and exercise regularly. In this way, I hope to gradually shed the pounds in a healthy and sustainable, and above all, tasty way, without having to follow a ‘fad’ diet or points-based system.
Eating less makes sense on many levels. Feeling hungry every now and again shouldn’t be thought of as ‘abnormal’.
This is my blog about the how to cook and plan daily and weekly menus to eat less but eat well.
